Q. What can we do beside snow activities in Hakuba or nearby?

A. You will enjoy many of attractions like Olympic Ski Jumping Stadium, Art Museums, Crafting and many kinds of Onsen in Hakuba. Gallery & Lodge NOICHIGO is ideally situated within one-day trip distance to the Wasabi Farm, Zenkoji Temple, Monkey Hotsprings in Shiga, and Matsumoto Castle, a national treasure.

Q. Do you serve lunch? or only dinner and breakfast?

A. We are afraid we don't serve lunch at our lodge. Please request dinner and breakfast at the time of booking.

Q. What payment method do you accept??

We accept Paypal, Credit card, and Cash (JPY) for the payment, but the long term discount applies CASH payment only.FYI : There are a couple of ATMs in Hakuba, which take foreign issued credit card.

Q. Which station should we get off the bus or train? After getting off, should we take a taxi to Gallery & Lodge NOICHIGO?

A. Please get off the train at JR Hakuba Staion if taking a train, and at Happo Bus Terminal if takng a bus from Nagano. Please call us on your arrival so that we are coming to pick you up. Providing us your estimated arrival time in advance is highly appreciated..

Q. How far from the closest ski slope from your lodge?

A. Closest ski slope from our lodge is Sakka in Happo One. It takes about a few minutes
by taking a short-cut trail through the forest. Happo One is the biggest ski resort in Hakuba and Sakka is located at the right end of Happo.
One of kids slope is in Sakka.

Q. Do you rent snow gears or there are any shops nearby?

A. There are many ski rental shops in Hakuba, and some of them are located in an easy walking distance of our lodge. A couple of shops have online reservations on their sites:

Q. Do you have baby sitting service or child care?

A. There is a child care center in Sakka slope, Happo One. Reservation required.

Q. How can we arrange for ski lessons?

A. Evergreen Outdoor Center is one of the companies offers English ski lessons in Hakuba. Happo One Ski Resort has also ski/snowboard schools with professional instructors. English speaking instructors are limited, so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Q. We would like to try other ski resorts beside Happo One while we are staying. How can we get to?

A. A bus stop of free shuttle bus from/to Goryu/Iimori/47 is located 50m up the road from our lodge.

Q. Are there restaurant, onsens nearby your lodge? Shuttle bus to the town?

A. There are restaurants/bars within walking distance of our lodge (5 ~ 15 minutes). There is one private onsen nearby, and most of
public onsens take approx 3~5 minutes by car. Night time shuttle bus 'Genki Go' circulates Hakuba village from evening to night. The closest its bus stop is down the street for few minutes from the lodge.

Q.Internet access available?

A. Yes. Wireless internet is available, and free computer in our dining is also available for our guests.
