You will enjoy Nozawaonsen village using Tannenhof as a base.

　　　'Kenashi-yama' hiking route -- where the view from the top is fantastic.
　　　'Mizubasho(skunk cabbage)' route -- an alpine route where you can see great
stock of skunk cabbages during early summer.
　　　'Hokuryuu-ko(lake) & Kosuge Jinja(shrine)' for a good walk -- visiting a beautiful
lake and　an old shrine on the hillside of Kosuge-yama. Along the path to the inner
sanctuary of Kosuge Jinja you will see fine old pine trees.
　　　'Sutaka-ko National Camping', and 'Chikuma River Fishing' -- flowing on the border
of Nozawa Onsen Mura and Iiyama-shi the river forms slack water here and there.
These slack waters are full of fishes such as dace, carp, char, rainbow trout and yamame-
a kind of trout.

Sightseeing Spots
　　　Nozawa Onsen is one of the largest and most popular ski resorts in Japan.
There are 13 public hot spring baths called 'Soto-yu' that can be used free of charge.
Most of them are kept in the old-style bathhouse architecture.
Please enjoy sightseeing spots and touring the 'Soto-yu'.
　　　Going up the slope in front of the 'Ohyu-(big bathhouse in Nozawa)', you can visit
many shrines and temples such as 'Kenmeiji temple' the place of origin of
Nozawa-na vegetables.
　　　The Dosojin Fire Festival is one of the three most famous fire festivals in Japan.
It is held on January 15th every year to pray for a plentiful harvest, health and good
fortune for the　new year.

Location

 　Tannenhof locates next to the Hikage Gondola station,
　the same area with the ski school, information center
　& ski museum.
　*During winter by car, please park in 'No.2 Parking'
　and call from there　(0269-85-3158 or 85-3158).
　*Train and Bus: Please call us when you arrive at
　　Nozawaonsen Bus stop(one before terminal).
　We will pick you up by snow vehicle(picture) soon after the call.
